Song of the Sword gets a Pinterest board…hey, that rhymes!

Song of the Sword Cover CoteauCoteau Books, publisher of The Shards of Excalibur series, has a great marketing team: they’ve set up a Pinterest board dedicated to Song of the Sword, with images related to the story. They populated it with a few things before I even found out about it, and I’ve added a few since, and will add more as time goes by.

Check it out!

Cover Art Reveal: Song of the Sword

Song of the Sword Cover CoteauHere’s the cover art for the revised version of Song of the Sword, first book in The Shards of Excalibur, being published by Coteau Books beginning in May. Even if you read the original Lobster Press version of the book, you’ll want a copy of the new one, which is extensively revised and also comes with a cover which (I have on good authority from my resident authority in YA fiction, 12-year-old daughter Alice) is much more attractive to the target audience.

It’s already available for pre-order on Amazon!

Good news for fans of Song of the Sword: the Shards of Excalibur series has a new home!

Coming from Coteau Books in May 2014: a brand-new revised edition of Song of the Sword, first book in the epic Shards of Excalibur YA fantasy series. The second book, Twist of the Blade, will follow in the fall of 2014 and the remaining three books at six-month intervals thereafter.

The Shards of Excalibur tells the  story of Ariane Forsythe, a teen from Regina, Saskatchewan, who discovers she is the heir of the Lady of the Lake of Arthurian legend. With the help of her unexpected sidekick, Wally Knight, she must discover all five pieces of King Arthur’s legendary sword Excalibur before Merlin, in his present-day guise as Rex Major, wealthy computer magnate, can do so…and launch a war to seize control of both Earth and his own world of Faerie.

Watch this space for more details! This website will grow as the series moves forward again.
